West Chesterfield resident Tammy Dillard-Steels stands near the new gate she recently had to buy after thieves took her other one off the hinge. She and other community residents have been the victims of metal thefts for a quick buck and their 6th Ward Alderman Rod Sawyer is calling for action. Sawyer would like to see more accountability from metal scrap yards that pay -- without questions -- for the metal brought to their business. Photo by Rhonda Gillespie
